I have a long track record of working with schools, districts and states cited by the office of civil rights for compliance issues in meeting the needs of multilingual learners.  I have unique expertise in special education, bilingual/ESL, and teacher preparation that uniquely situate me to address statewide, districtwide and/or schoolwide models of change. I have been trained in the National Coalition Building Institute, which values reciprocity, reconciliation, and allyship. I have a proven track record of publication in the field and my work has been spotlighted by such organizations as SPLC Learning for Justice, UC Berkeley's Greater Good, and TEACHING Exceptional Children.
